About The Chef
At a young age Lauren Montelbano acknowledged the connection between food and vital health. Using it as a tool to create vitality, improve mood and physiology, combat disease, and sustain overall good health. Her training as a holistic nutritionist helps her to create perfectly balanced meals for a broad spectrum of needs.
Chef Lauren has spent the last six years running kitchens in Madison, WI. It was there she gained skills as an event caterer, menu developer, mentor, and hospitality manager. She also worked as a program coordinator for a non-profit that supplied nutritious meals to those facing health crises. In addition, Lauren has worked as a personal chef for seniors and individuals with specific dietary needs, making her an expert in designing meal plans for people with special dietary restrictions and preferences.
With a background in organic farming, Chef Lauren also knows the importance of supporting local farms. She takes care to source her ingredients from a small network of farms to pay tribute to the hard working people who grow our food responsibly and also to reduce the environmental impact on the planet.
